Fergus McCready was appointed Section Principal Oboe with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House in 2024. He started working with the company during his studies at the Royal Academy of Music, concluding his trial period with Antonio Pappano’s memorable final production as Director, Andrea Chénier.
